Philosophy

Our philosophy has remained constant throughout the 10 year history of our climbing facility.

We believe that physical pursuits provide a great atmosphere for young people to learn about life skills such as: discipline, dedication, dealing with success and failure, goal setting and self-discovery.

We encourage each athlete to take responsibility for his/her learning and performance. All of our classes follow logical teaching progression that allows for all athletes to improve at their own pace. Our classes are designed and delivered by a dedicated coaching staff including past National Champions. Inverness Leisure’s Climbing Facilities Manager is Ruairidh Mackenzie, National Youth Team Coach and Area Youth Coordinator for the MCofS.

Climbing Parties

Our Climbing Parties include 1.5hrs of supervised climbing for your group, harness and shoe hire, safety instruction, and your personal Inverness Leisure climbing instructor who will be with your group the entire time.

We can also arrange catering services for your group or alternatively drinks and snacks may be purchased from various vending machines located throughout the facility or from our Cafe.
