The wetside of Inverness Leisure
From this page you can access information about the various areas of the part of the building which accomodates the swimming pools and health suite activity areas (oftern referred to as The Aquadome).
The 8 lane pool has been designed to meet international competition swimming standards and Inverness Leisure is very lucky to have had a number of British swimming records set in the pool during some of the events that have taken place in the Competition pool over previous years.
Our Leisure Pool is our other pool, which offers lots of fun water actvities for every member of the family, no matter how old you are...even mums and dads can become big kids in this pool.
The leisure pool features a massive wave pool with water geysers. From the wave pool you can move into our River which will take you on a fairly rapid journey around the pool and from there you can move into our 'thistle shaped' outdoor pool, also with geysers and bubble jets. In addition, you can also take the challenge of our three flumes or just relax in our family spa bath. The leisure pool also has an area dedicated purely for babies, toddlers and small children (parental supervison required at all times in this area).
Finally, we have our Health Suite area which is located on the upper level of the building, which as with all areas of our building is fully accessible by wheel chair users.
The Health Suite has a newly fitted sauna; steam room and spa bath along with a huge relaxation area equipped with comfortable seating and loungers where you can chill-out after your sauna, steam, spa or swim.
All of our wetside area are fully supervised by our highly qualified staff, who are there to help and assist you during your visits, whilst ensuring your safety at all times.
